World Alzheimer's Day, 21 September, we stand with all those affected by this disease. We are committed to raising awareness by supporting the families and those who are living with Alzheimer's.
Alzheimer’s is a neuro-degenerative disease that causes progressive memory loss and cognitive decline. It is the most common form of dementia, affecting over 50 million people worldwide.
Sadly, there is no cure for Alzheimer’s, but there are interventions to manage the symptoms and improve quality of life.
Unique Health provides companions (nurses) in the home environment who provide support for patients and their families.
